So far, everything is sold out.

Will update everyone once I have new stocks 🙂

Review will also come in soon! I’m just too busy processing my visa for the US >_<

MyPhone MY28S Android Smartphone Kit Review

Hello! I’m back!

As mentioned on the previous entry, I was sick for an entire week 😦
Who would have thought that at 30, I’ll have asthma!
Now I understand how hard it is to have it, I had a hard time breathing for an entire week >_<

I have a lot of products pending to be reviewed!
I had a LOT of spare time last week but I was too weak to even tweet 😦
Now I’m already well so let me start by reviewing a cheap smartphone 🙂
You don’t have to spend a lot to be beautiful, right?
Now, you no longer have to spend a lot to have a smartphone, too!

My current phone is Sony Xperia T2 Ultra.
My fiance gave it to me as a gift when he first visited me here in the Philippines. But due to some unavoidable circumstances, the said phone could no longer be charged properly. I think there’s an issue with the charging port and I need to have it replaced. I work from 12 noon to 9pm and it’s too hard to find the time to have the phone repaired before and after my shift, so I’ve decided to just buy a second phone, one that is just cheap and simple.

My conditions are: it doesn’t matter what brand or model, as long as I can use it to call my fiance via Facebook call. My budget is 2,000 pesos maximum.

I remember that there’s a MyPhone branch in the SM Hypermarket near my workplace, so I went there during my lunch break yesterday.

I was with one of my agents when I went there and she’s the one to point out a model that costs 1,999 pesos in the poster on the wall. I asked if they have one of those, and they said that they ran out of stock. They, however, have one that only costs 988 pesos. At first I heard it wrong and thought that they have one for 9,888 pesos. To my surprise, it is indeed just 988 pesos!

Enter MyPhone’s MY28S smartphone

MyPhone MY28S
Price: 888+100 (forced buying of 100 pesos credits lol)
Where to buy: My Phone Outlets. I’m not sure if SMART sells it too.
More details below

13090164_10153718694124582_1490384099_n

The box says it’s only 888 pesos, but since it already comes with 100 pesos’ worth of credits, the total price is at 988 pesos.

They told me that it’s already quad-core, has a main and a front camera, and already contains Android Lollipop. Too good to be true! But damn, it’s true! Hahahaha!

13052427_10153718693424582_1002936560_o

They said that it’s the same model as the 1,999 pesos unit that is already out of stock. But since it’s locked to the mobile network SMART, it’s already way cheaper.

They only allow one phone per person, and I’m lucky I have my agent with me so I had her “buy” 1 unit and I also bought 1, for a total of 2 units. I’ll use one for myself, and will give the other one to my mom. Awesome!

For 988 pesos, you’ll get the following:

13084149_10153718689449582_1471721435_n

– Phone
– Charging cable
– Charging socket
– A pair of earphones
– 2 sim cards (1 Smart, 1 Talk N Text)
– 100 pesos call and text card

I can’t believe that it’s only for 988 pesos! The phone looks OK too!

13082041_10153718689119582_1560594678_n.jpg

By the way, the screen also has a screen protector. Complete package!

13077176_10153718689014582_80240499_n

Here’s a picture of the earphones that came with the package:

12166569_10153718689224582_111158513_n

It looks decent and not cheap at all! The sound is also good!
Now let me rate the phone 🙂

Pre-installed Applications (3 out of 5)

I reset the phone to factory settings the moment I got home to make sure that I’m starting anew.

The phone contains the following pre-installed applications:
– Facebook (can be uninstalled)
– Viber (can be uninstalled)
– Twitter (can be uninstalled)
– Instagram (can be uninstalled)
– Spinnr (CANNOT be uninstalled)
– Get iflix (CANNOT be uninstalled)
– Pinoy (CANNOT be uninstalled and idk wtf this app is about)

I’m so glad that the phone did not come with a lot of unnecessary applications pre-installed. Those things make the phone slow. But I still want to uninstall that Pinoy thingie.

Other Features (3 out of 5)

The phone also comes with a built-in radio (which I won’t use). I don’t know what other features does it have, nor do I know what other features am I looking for ahahaha!

Camera (3 out of 5)

The phone will never cease to surprise it’s buyer. Both the front and the main camera have flash! Woohoo!

According to the phone specifications, the front camera is at 2MP, while the main camera is at 5MP. Below are the pictures taken by both cameras with and without flash:

13084062_10153718650754582_1099221207_n

13045544_10153718649194582_1913322595_n

13077314_10153718650964582_1595517609_n

13059319_10153718650869582_1142184764_n

Not bad for 988 pesos, right?

Battery (2 out of 5)

At 1450mAh, you can’t expect long battery life. I tested both phones today to see how long would the batteries really last, and below are my observations:

  • I left the house for work at 11am (phone #1 is fully charged, not connected to WiFi, and was not used at all) and when I got home from work at 10:30pm, the battery is still at 89%
  • Phone #2 is connected to WiFi and I used the Facebook messenger for less than an hour, and the battery life diminished by 20%
  • The battery drains fast when connected to WiFi, like really fast. I’m not sure if it’s the same when connected to mobile data.
  • If connected to WiFi and is actively using the internet, the battery would only last 3-4 hours. Again, I’m not sure if it’s going to be the same when connected to mobile data.
  • At standby mode, the batter only drains 13% ever 12 hours, for a total of 26% per day, which means that it would last 4 days at standby.

Performance (2.5 out of 5)

It says quad-core, so it’s supposed to be fast. But even with only Facebook and Messenger installed, there’s already latency. It’s also slow when taking pictures.

When typing, there’s a lag each time you click on the bar where you type the characters.

I tried saving pictures from Facebook Messenger and even though it says “Image Saved”, you won’t find the image everywhere lol

Overall, I won’t even get the average score I gave the different aspects of the phone. Instead, I’ll give it a full 5 points.

Why? It’s not perfect, it’s not the best, but it’s only 988 pesos and it comes with complete accessories plus 2 sim cards and a 100 pesos phone credits. What other phone could surpass that for the price? Yes, iPhones are the epitome of smartphones but are they worth the money?

This phone is worth the money!

It’s the best 988 pesos I have spent on a material thing so far!

GOREE WHITENING CREAM UPDATE

Hi Guys!

I was sick the entire week last week so I didn’t managed to reply to everyone’s inquiries 😦

Good news: The cream is already here in the Philippines since last week!

Bad news: It’s stuck at Bureau of Customs 😦

At first they’re asking us to present a licence to sell the product since our box contains 100 pieces of the cream, and now they’re asking for 5,000 pesos before they release the package. I feel bad for my cousin for having to deal with all the customs shit, and I really hope that we can get the package soon. Lesson learned,we won’t ship 100pcs of cream again next time.

I’ll keep you guys updated and will reply to everyone’s inquiry asap.

Sorry for the inconvenience m(_ _)m

Goree Whitening Cream Review

Armpit Talks #04

I never thought I’d write another entry about an underarm whitening product again. I thought that with RMK, Human Nature, and Cupcake cream, I already solved the girl problem that is dark underarms. But I was wrong!

Well, it’s not me who experienced it, but I am still at awe. My cousin, who already have a kid and is suffering from dark underarms for a long time, just recently discovered an even more effective product.

Goree Whitening Cream
Where to buy: Sadly, it’s only available in Pakistan. But since my relatives liked it so much, my niece decided to order 100 pcs of it to sell here in the Philippines
How much: 550 pesos
Contents: Not stated in the packaging, but it looks like it’s more or less 50 grams. There’s a lot in the jar.

Inside the box is the jar and a small flyer written in middle-eastern characters

12999724_10153695029639582_134463255_o

The jar is sealed in plastic with English writings about the product

Sorry for the resolution, my camera is not the best 😀

By the way, this cream is not for the armpits alone, okay? It’s actually made for the face and body. So yeah, can be used on the armpits too of course.

12992976_10153695030514582_432032811_n

The cream is minty green in color, and looks kinda powdery. It smells like detergent bar, which I don’t really like, but it worked wonders on my cousin so who cares? It’s not like I’ll be using it on my face anyway.

I keep on talking about my cousin and how it worked on her, so now it’s time to show you the pictures!

This is how her armpit looked like before she used the cream.

12966529_10153695030634582_920815395_n

This is how her armpits looked like just a week after using the cream.

12968562_10153695030744582_2046176434_n

She’s taking pictures because she’s really desperate for progress. Good thing she did, because at least now we can post about it hehehe.

One jar is good for a month’s worth of use. After she’s done with her first jar, this is how her armpits looked like:

12969256_10153695030854582_1826805386_n

Yes. That’s the same person. No edits (aside from the watermark), no filters. Even I can’t believe it myself! It took me months of using RMK+Human Nature+Cupcake cream to get pretty armpits, and it only took her a month, and the results are even better. What. The. Hell.

Despite already having whiter armpits thanks to the 3 products that I have mentioned, I know that my armpits could still look even better. I am so adding Goree cream to my ritual starting today!

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Review

When I was young, I always wondered what those green masks women wear on TV were. You know how at one point in our lives we’ve watched a show or a movie, and a woman is already in her night dress, her hair tied up, cucumber slices on eyes, and green mud on the face? That one.

It wasn’t until last year when I learned what that green mask is. It’s Aztec clay.

12966174_10153677394444582_78415316_n

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay mixed with Apple Cider Vinegar  to be exact!

12966367_10153677394689582_1391933911_n

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay
Price: 429 pesos
Contents: 1 lb
Where to buy: Healthy Options

Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
Price: depends on where you will buy it. Ranges from 250-500 pesos for a 473ml bottle
Where to buy: Healthy Options, groceries, Mercury Drug

Aztec clay is made specifically to be mixed with apple cider vinegar (or water, but apple cider vinegar is most preferred). It is used to deeply cleanse the pores, and help remove pimples (based on my and other other people’s experience).

12966001_10153677394259582_1644804645_n

If you’re too lazy to read the instructions, just remember NOT TO USE A METAL BOWL AND UTENSIL. Metal will react to ACV and might end up irritating your skin instead of healing it.

12919249_10153677393929582_1302838300_n

A tablespoon (not full) is enough for one mask.

12919295_10153677393719582_225697039_n

Again, use a non-metal bowl and pour the apple cider vinegar on the clay powder. This soup bowl I used is only 20 pesos.

12921112_10153677393514582_591469945_n

The proportion should be 1:1 so be careful. Mix it well until if forms a paste.

12935333_10153677393319582_1783280745_n

Use a spatula or a brush to mix the 2 products well. It’s really up to you. I just happened to have a concealer brush that I don’t use, and used it to apply the mask on my face.

Cover your face entirely with the mask. The instructions said leave it on for 10-15 minutes if you have sensitive skin, and 15-20 minutes if not.

12939108_10153677393089582_1077980000_n

A few minutes after applying the mask, you’d feel your skin tighten or “pulsate”, and they really mean it literally! Whenever I use it, I feel like my face is getting smaller 😀

12968642_10153677392809582_614026214_n

Another tip, don’t talk while the mask is on hahahah!

After 20 minutes, I’m ready to remove the mask!

12919051_10153677392479582_734536831_n

Removing the mask can be tedious since the mask already hardened. Just be really careful when removing it because you might end up scratching your face. You can use a cold towel if you’re not lazy to wash it afterwards.

Don’t expect your pores to instantly disappear after using this. Even if I had taken before and after pictures, you wouldn’t see that much of a difference because it cleanses from within. But there’s a big difference with the way your skin would feel after using it though! My skin feels really soft afterwards!

I have only spent a total of 680 pesos for both 1 lb of clay and 473 ml of ACV. I think one jar could make around 20-25 masks, depending on how much you’re going to use. For less than 30 pesos per organic deep pore cleansing mask, it’s super worth it!

What’s in my fridge?

I have toner, essense, and soothing gels in mine!

It’s summer and it’s humid, so pores tend to be open. Putting some of your skin care products in the fridge would aid in closing the pores.

Remember:

Heat = Open pores
Cold = Close pores
