I’m still a beginner when it comes to makeup. My daily makeup routine is composed of;
1. Toner or essence
2. Moisturizer
3. Face primer
4. Foundation or bb cream
5. Setting powder
6. Eyebrows
7. Eyeliner
8. Lipstick or lip tint
9. Blush on (if I remember)
Mascara is optional haha!
As you see, eyeshadow is not even there. That is because I don’t know how hahaha!
Just to show you how much I suck at putting on eyeshadow, here’s what happened after I followed a Youtube tutorial:
One of my friends even thought at first that I got hurt hahaha! I have poor to no artistic skills, I know… Which is why I wonder why I even bothered buying these..
I thought that since I already made this blog, I might as well post my progress when it comes to doing proper makeup, right?
I’ve already been checking out Walgreens because my fiance will be coming here in the Philippines. My first choice had always been L’Oreal Paris La Palette Nude eyeshadows, because it’s Buy 1 Get 1 at 50% off at 19usd each. When I told my fiance about it, he said that he’ll go to Walgreens instead because there’s one near his house. When he finally went there, he thought that 19usd is too expensive for an eyeshadow palette specially since I don’t even know how to use it lol! So instead, he bought me this
I was already contented with the Wet n Wild palette (and ecotools brushes hihi), but then he left it in the states -_-;
To summarize, I still ended up buying the L’Oreal palettes here in the Philippines.
The packaging in the Philippines is different from the US versions. The US versions are labeled Nude 1 (for Beige) and Nude 2 (for Rose).
First, is the Rose palette. This is what the L’Oreal lady suggested because it contains rose, plum and brown colors, which is more diverse than the Beige one.
The Rose palette have really beautiful colors! My favorite is the 5th one! It’s peachy pink that is shimmery!
I’ve only used the 5th one under my eyes and a little on the crease when we went to the province. We stayed there for a couple of hours then we went back in Manila after. Despite being out in the sun the entire day, the eyeshadow did not cake or fade at all!
I’ve only tried one color and so far I am impressed! Which is why I bought the Beige palette yesterday when we went out hehehe
The Beige palette have really cute colors too!
My favorite in this palette is #5 too! I guess I’m just into shiny stuff haha!
